For the Mechanic

Aircraft logbooks and records – they say a lot about the quality of work performed on an airplane.  They can also alleviate any questions as to the tasks performed during routine maintenance or repairs.  They can make or break a deal when the time comes to sell that airplane.

Do your clients a favor and provide them with excellent aircraft logbook entries that detail the work you accomplished.  Compile an AD list that is detailed and comprehensive. Complete that 337 Form with accurate and detailed information so the next person who looks at it knows exactly what happened.

When you meet an airplane for the first time to perform maintenance, one of the first things you do is review the logs.  Some entries are worse than poor, some are OK, and some are legible and give important details about what was done.  Many may have logos and contact information that add credibility to the entry.

If you would like to “professionalize” your log entries but do not have the time, resources or gumption to actually make them look their best, let me help.

I am an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic with Inspection Authorization – I speak the language.

          • Professional Logbook Entries
          • Airworthiness Directive Research and Reports
          • Service Bulletin/Letter Research
          • Type Certificate Data Research
          • Supplemental Type Certificate Research
          • 337 Form Creation
          • Copies of FAA Aircraft Records
          • Bill of Sale and Registration Assistance
          • Parts Locating

I developed an easy and efficient system to receive the raw details of your log entries – through an audio file, handwritten notes, or original inspection forms.  When I get the raw details, I can compile them into a log entry that is coherent and professional.  I can add your logo and whatever other information you would like to see on the finished product.  The logbook entries will be formatted to fit the size of the logbook – all you have to do is print them on label stock, trim to fit, install and sign.

If you need AD research done, send me the details in any format and I will perform the search for you.  I maintain an account with Veryon Technical Publications (formerly Aircraft Technical Publishers – ATP)  and have access to most sites for service publications.  If you need a copy of an AD and associated service information, I can quickly get that information to you.

I know that all of these services are very time sensitive.  My goal is to target a turn-around time of less than 24 hours.  Often I can provide what you need while you stand-by for it.

Every mechanic is a little different and their requirements will be a little different.  I can easily adapt to what you need.  Let me be your “go-to” source for your aircraft maintenance records and research.
